Webmail Should be Investigated

Webmail International should be investigated for bad business practice, lying to clients and customers and breach of contract. After being approached by Webmail and being assured that there was no spamming, fantastic response rates (30%-40%) and examples of the other companies who had great results. I signed up. Since then, they don’t return calls, they are amateur in the extreme, they threaten legal action at every turn and refuse to engage at all. I have since found out that the database that ’signed’ up to receive direct mail is their own email database. In order to get a free Webmail email address they require huge amounts of personal information. They use this info to spam their own clientele and then charge me for the pleasure!!! The privacy they promise their email clients is a farce. Every time somebody clicks through I get their phone number and their email address. I’m sure they love that! 96% of my direct mailers were deleted without opening! So much for a target market. The response rate has been 0.01% - if I had given away free product to these 69 people I would have saved thousands of Rands. I paid R30k to spam consumers and I am so furious. Webmail must be stopped!!

If you have been scammed by this company please contact me on WebmailSucksBig@gmail.com and let’s stop them once an for all!!!

What exactly did they promise you?

I’ve seen many clients now with they same story and they al complain that they didnt deliver on any of the empty promises.

I would really like to know exactly what they promise people in the sales pitch because all your really getting is 100000 spam emails sent to people who do not want them.

and by the way that you can do for free if you want to follow bad business practises.

I know … I’m an idiot. They mentioned a very reputable company that had used them and I know this company well. I couldn’t get hold of their Media Manager but I figured they’d never specifically mention a company if it wasn’t true. Since all this mess, I not only contacted the Media Manager but also their Media Planner - Webmail lied. I am meeting with the GM of the company to tell him that his company is being used to sell Webmail. I am not going to take this - I want some action and I will spearhead it if I have to.

Yep Totally agree. They tried to get me to buy one of their R30000 package. Promising me all sorts of things. I am a guy who does not like to spend money spontaneously. Glad I didn’t.

After refusing to buy into their spam mail, the phoned me again after a couple of months and tried again. Sounded like a different person, as tho webmail has never contacted me before.

    Bunch of spammers.

  4. Graham Says:

It is far better to spend the time building your own list on an opt in basis from your own website. R30 000 will go a long way as an opt in list building exercise.
Problem is we all want a quick fix…. and webmail are capitalising on that.

Not to mention all the scam artist themselves are using webmail address’s for fraudulent on-line purchases, spam accounts etc you can not believe it. They should have better vetting process.

I have also hear of people trying to be sold on their huge affiliate marketing reach..yip every one who have a e-mail account.

I have emailed regarding my latest experience with Webmail. What a bunch of idiots - i completley agree about their site - why would you want some random flyin advert to float around your site irritating the user?

A dogs breakfast looks better than their site, their sales techniques are non existent and the only thing they seem to be good at is spamming their databse and harassig everyone else that is not signed up with them.

    Down with Webmail!

  8. Tony Dovale Says:

Hi - I cannot believe that people like Jeff Ellis and Alan Lipschitz of Webmail have any integirty, honor or dignity…. From my experiences it seems like they are like GREEDERS and predators - I have begged to have my numbers blocked from their time wasters - but still am receiving their unwanted interruptions.

Maybe we should get Carte Blanche onto them?

Jeff Ellis and Alan Lipschitz .. if you have ANY integrity or dignity…. PLEASE get my numbers removed from your predatory sales rats!.

Is money so important that you lose your soul?
